Pastor Chris started his message by explaining that the reason for the Higher Life Conference is for Christians to understand the Gospel they've received. "It's one thing to receive Christ and be born again,” he said, "but it's another thing to know what it really means.”
Though many believe in Jesus, they can't say what it is about Jesus they've believed or what it is they received as a consequence of their believing. However, everyone who believes in Jesus ought to be aware they’ve received something; everlasting life. We received that life when we believed in Christ. The Lord Jesus said in John 6:47, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.” The Lord also made a sovereign declaration–a divine law–in John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Eternal Life Brings You Into Fellowship With God
Of all God's creation, man is the only one gifted with the ability to make words. All others have sounds, but we have words. The big thing about what happens when you receive life is that you're immediately awakened to fellowship with God and your words take on a new meaning. You find that you can express yourself to God in words because He expresses Himself in words, and this brings you into His class.

A Cocktail Of Blessings For All Delegates!
Great was the impact of the ministration of the Word that, as the man of God made the altar call on all three days, thousands stood up to confess the Lordship of Jesus over their lives! Just as the man of God prophesied on the first day of the meeting, the glorious presence of God rested on everyone present at the stadium's main bowl and at the overflow sections. As they received the message of the higher life in Christ, they were transported from one level of glory to another and many mighty and diverse miracles occurred.
The 2012 Higher Life Conference in Cape Town has indeed kindled a spiritual fire in the southern tip of Africa that will spread across the continent and to the ends of the earth!
