Gospel act Tye Tribbett Leads 56th Annual Grammy Gospel Award Winners

If HE did it before, HE can do it again! Tye Tribbett took home major honors at Sunday’s 56th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.
Thanking Motown Gospel, Tribbett accepted two awards, including Best Gospel Song for the breakthrough single “If He Did It Before… Same God.”
“Greater Than,” his latest album, won for Best Gospel Album.
Tribbett was also on hand to present awards, along with Jimmy Jam, during the Grammy pre-telecast ceremony hosted by Cyndi Lauper.
Fellow Gospel recording artist Tasha Cobbs also took home the award for Best Gospel Contemporary Performance (“Break Every Chain”).
Erica Campbell (Mary Mary) and Bishop Paul S. Morton were also in attendance at Sunday’s Grammy Awards along with R&B stars like Fantasia and Faith Evans.
