Publisher's Statement

As we take some time to reflect on the birth of our Lord and Savior this Christmas season, more than anything I would like to emphasize that Christmas is so amazing because it marks the entry of the bringer of grace into this earth. Many times we get preoccupied with gift-giving, Christmas trees, and other holiday activities (and there is nothing wrong with that), but let’s also remind ourselves how awesome His mercy and unmerited favor are toward us! Through Jesus Christ, we have been given access to all the promises in the Word of God and all the power and ability that He possesses. Christmas is a great reminder of the wonderful gift of grace that has been extended to every person who receives Christ.

The more I study and meditate on the grace of God, the more I grow in love with Jesus. All that He did for us solidifies His position as Lord and Savior in our lives. We no longer have to walk around feeling condemned or in bondage to our mistakes and shortcomings. When He was born, something so powerful was released into this earth, and no one would ever be the same. Christmas marks the beginning of a movement on this earth that would eventually impact us today, which is why we celebrate.

In this issue of CHANGE, we are focusing on some wonderful things, such as walking in the Spirit and what that means, your identity in Christ, the meaning of singleness, and what true success is all about. Each article will strengthen your faith and refresh your soul. We are extremely excited about God’s grace and how an understanding of it is changing people’s lives all over the world. As we continue to spread the message of God’s unmerited favor and unconditional love toward people, we are confident that it will begin to transform the way people think about the Gospel and their relationships with God.

Taffi and I hope that your Christmas is filled with wonderful memories with your family and loved ones. We pray that you experience God’s love like never before, no matter what your circumstance or situation may be, and that you get a revelation of grace because it is truly life-changing. We are so excited about the year 2014 and the wonderful things it holds for those who trust in this marvelous grace and not their own efforts to make things happen. When you behold Jesus and the Word of God, you will find yourself becoming transformed more and more into His image.
