THE leader of Bahamas Faith Ministries, Dr Myles Munroe, and his wife Ruth have been killed in a plane crash in Grand Bahama.

The crash took place this afternoon and killed all nine people on board the private jet. The plane reportedly struck a crane at the Grand Bahama Ship Yard, exploding on impact and crashing into the ground near a junkyard area.

The Department of Civil Aviation reported that the plane was a Lear 36 executive jet which departed the Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA) for the Grand Bahama International Airport.

The plane left LPIA at 4.07pm with nine people on board and crashed while making an approach for landing at Grand Bahama International Airport at 5.10pm, the Department of Civil Aviation said.

A police on source on the island previously said two were feared dead. However, police sources later confirmed that all those on board had been killed.

The police source also said it was believed the group was heading to a conference hosted by Pastor Munroe.

The identities of the other people on board have not yet been confirmed.

The statement said while the department was advised of fatalities, it was awaiting confirmation from police on if there were any survivors.

The Grand Bahama Airport Company Crash Fire Rescue Department responded to the incident, and the Police and Bahamas Air Sea Rescue (BASRA) are presently on the scene.

The department said a full scale investigation will start tomorrow morning at daylight, which will include the Department of Civil Aviation Aircraft Accident Investigation Prevention Unit.

Facebook Buys WhatsApp For $19bn

Some years back, the now former owners of Whatsapp Messager, Mr Jan Koum, said they would never sell Whatsapp. But at about midnight yesterday, the world's biggest social networking company Facebook announced that it is buying mobile messaging service WhatsApp for  $19 billion in cash and stock

Facebook would pay $12 billion in Facebook stock and $4 billion in cash for WhatsApp.
In addition, the app's founders and employees will be granted $3 billion in restricted stock that will vest over four years after the deal closes.

Facebook says it is keeping WhatsApp as a separate service, just as it did with Instagram, which it bought for about $715.3 million. I didn't even kwon Facebook had bought Instagram. WhatsApp is facebook's biggest acquisition so far

jeeps for ministerial purpose.
It was gathered that the exact reasons for the need were undisclosed, but it might not be unconnected to the fact that it is for use in some of their
branches manned by his ordained Pastors scattered across the country.
Inquiries further revealed that a brand new Prado jeep goes for about N10.6 million thus, the estimated cost of 200 Prado jeeps comes to N2.1 billion.
It is revealed that it was an individual contribution by wealthy members who voluntarily donated the jeeps. Even though the place of purchase cannot be easily determined nor the identity of the donors revealed, it is gathered that the jeeps are tucked away inside
Cannanland at Otta, Ogun State.

The Gift Of No Condemnation

John 8:11 11… “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

When Jesus was on earth, a woman caught in the act of adultery was brought before Him by the scribes and Pharisees, the religious mafia of His day. They tried to trap Him by posing a question that was difficult to answer: “Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” (John 8:5) Jesus answered, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” (John 8:7) The scribes and Pharisees began to leave one by one till none of them were left. The people in the crowd who wanted to condemn the woman could not. But Jesus, the only one in the crowd who truly had the power to condemn her, would not. He then asked her, “Woman… Has no one condemned you?” (John 8:10) He spoke such words of grace to her because He loved her. Also, by asking her the question, He was giving her a chance to speak words of no condemnation to herself — “No one [condemns me], Lord.” (John 8:11) Jesus not only spoke words of grace to her, He also gave her the gift of no condemnation — “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more”. It was when she received the gift of no condemnation that she had the power to “go and sin no more”. Today, you have the gift of no condemnation because the Son of God was condemned for all your sins. (Romans 8:1) Today, God cannot condemn you when you sin because He is faithful and just to what His Son has done. So if the devil tries to convince you that God is angry with you when you blow it, just say, “God does not condemn me today because He has already condemned Jesus at the cross 2,000 years ago!” Unfortunately, we still hear people saying, “Go and sin no more first, then I won’t condemn you.” Maybe you have been saying this to yourself too. But God says, “I don’t condemn you. Go and sin no more.” He gives you the gift of no condemnation, so that you have the strength to go and sin no more!

Pastor Bakare denies labelling APC ‘satanic’

Pastor Tunde Bakare has denied recent reports that he labelled political party APC, 'satanic'

“APC is like a newly opened church of Satan with the evil as a pastor which could not be distinguished by Nigerians from a true living Godly church and hence could be mistaken for a real church, even when it was made of thieves (Legitimate Pen Robbers),” Mr. Bakare, who pastors the Latter Rain Assembly, was reported as saying during a sermon.

Kimberly Fugate gave birth to quadruplets

A pregnant woman in Mississippi went into the labour room expecting to give birth to triplets but delivers identical quadruplets.
Kimberly Fugate, who already has a 10-year-old daughter and wasn’t planning to have any more children – until she found out she was pregnant with triplets in November 2013, got a surprise when she ended up delivering four healthy baby girls last week, The Clarion Ledger reported.

When Fugate, 42, went into labor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) on February 8, she had delivered three healthy babies as expected. But then, her doctor looked at her and said, “More feet.”

Shortly after, a fourth baby girl was delivered – surprising Fugate, her husband and her doctor. Dr. James Bofill, director of maternal-fetal medicine at UMMC, said the scenario was a first in his 27-year-long career.

“I was very embarrassed, obviously,” Bofill told The Clarion Ledger. “The news was sent to me by one of my fellows. I thought she was kidding.”

Fugate’s ‘surprise’ baby wasn’t the only thing that made her case so unusual. Bofill noted that Fugate’s quadruplets were all identical – an extremely rare phenomenon.

“No one really knows what makes a single zygote separate into identical twins or identical triplets, or in this case, identical quadruplets,” Bofill told The Clarion Ledger. “It’s definitely an accident; it’s not supposed to happen and, in some cases, like Ms. Fugate’s, it happens in a spectacular manner.”

The baby girls – Kenleigh, Kristen, Kaleigh and Kelsey – were born premature at 28 weeks and will remain in the hospital until May.

Personal life

Pastor Ashimolowo converted to Christianity from Islam at the age of 22 after the death of his father before enrolling with a Bible school.^[1]
Forbes estimated Ashimolowo's net worth is at between $6-10 million.^[2] KICC annual accounts confirmed that he earns an annual salary of £100,000^[3] but the majority of his wealth comes from the sale of Christian literature and documentaries from his media company, Matthew Ashimolowo media. ^[2] This is consistent with the fact that Ashimolowo subscribes to and teaches success in the vein of Prosperity theology, which in most respects is considered controversial.

Financial irregularities

The charity behind Kingsway International Christian Centre is The King's Ministries Trust. This was investigated by the Charity Commission of England and Wales between 2002 and 2005. A report of the inquiry was released in October 2005.^[4] The report concluded that there had been serious misconduct and mismanagement in the administration of the charity. At an early stage in the investigation, it was considered that the charity's assets were at risk, and control was removed from the existing trustees and placed in the hands of an independent external company (the accountancy and management consultancy practice KPMG), who regularised the charity's affairs.
The report found that:^[4]

• there was serious misconduct and mismanagement in the administration of the Charity (section 21)
• he was responsible for approving payments and benefits to himself and his wife, Yemisi, totalling more than £384,000 (section 11)
• he and his family received benefits from the Charity including:
  • free accommodation for himself and family (section 4)
  • an £80,000 car (section 12)
  • he had made personal purchases using the Charity’s Visa card, including the purchase of a timeshare apartment in Florida for £13,000 (section 18)
• over half a million pounds was paid out to Ashimolowo's private companies, which were operated from church property and had unclear business relationships with the charity (section 15)
• Ashimolowo acted as both a trustee and a paid employee of the charity (section 4)

He was ordered (section 34) to repay £200,000.
In a subsequent debate in the House of Lords, Lord Swinfen questioned the Charity Commission's running of this investigation. He acknowledged the technical breach, but highlighted its openness, "This unincorporated trust has for some years been remunerating its trustees for various services and doing so quite openly. It made the mistake of not realising that it should have altered its constitution explicitly to allow that to be done." He then questioned the cost of the investigation "With some advice from the commission and the use of the charity lawyer, the trustees of this charity could have affected these changes for some £12,000—one-hundredth of the sum the commission has already spent." He added "The commission believes, understandably, that the future success of this charity is assured by the charity having new trustees".^[5]
